Section II:   Porch & Deck Details

  • Limitless opportunities to express individual style
  • Strong horizontal base with ground hugging massing
  • Broad porches with minimum depth of 7'-0"
  • Wrap-around porches
  • Porches may be combined with entry elements
  • Wide variety of column details and materials are encouraged
  • Side and rear porch / decks may be screened or glazed as approved by the DRC
  • Variety of railing treatments are acceptable including wood & wrought iron (glass is permitted on rear decks pending approval of the DRC)
  • Simple 4 x 4 wood columns are not permitted as deck supports
